Welcome! This is my favorite J-Rock group. When I first heard of them ws last year of March 1997 in Asuka magazine. At first I wasn't sure but then RIka just look oh so cute! ^_~ THey are considered one of the hottest Indie's band in Japan, and I can see why; with Kazushi's voice, Rika's and Rayzi's sensational and cool guitar, Shono's hard rocking drumming and Yuki's bass it's ROUAGE.
Rouage was formed in 1993 December. They were running as one of the hottest Indie's band in Japan, until
they debuted from Mercury Music in June 1996. As the original bass player, Kaiki who's in the band "With Sexy" now was in, but quit right before ROUAGE debuted. Yuki joined Rouage in 1996 but left for a long vacation. Which makes me sad because I always thought Yuki was cool, especially with his green hair in the "from BIBLE" concert. It's too bad he took that long vacation.
ROUAGE's music is gothic and dark in some ways, but I think they have a some soft rock (in my opinion). But they do have their own style of music which is good. My favorite of their albums is "MIND", I don't know why, it just has the "rite tone of music" (as my freind IRL said), he doesn't listen to J-Rock, but american rock, but he likes ROUAGE now because "their music is perfect". I guess to him it's just rite.
